MI is the mixture in a 1:1 blend of4,4 MDI and its isomer 2,4 MDI.
Basf MI is widely used in the manufacturing of polyurethane elastomer products,adhesive, coatings, and automobile components. It can also be used as an subsititute of TDI in the manufacturing of flexible polyurethane foam to lower production cost and alleviate environmental pollution. Because of the NCO functional group, MI has better liquidity in the manufacturing of molding products.
